(CINCINNATI, OHIO, 10/27/22) – CAIR-Ohio Staff Attorney Maryam Abidi was recently a panelist at the first meeting of the newly formed University of Cincinnati Muslim Law Association. The association aims to build a network of Muslim pre-law and law students and encourage more Muslims to join the legal profession.
Abidi was joined by Nadeem Quraishi, a local attorney to answer questions about their backgrounds, what led them to practice law, and their experience in their past and current roles. They also provided invaluable advice to the students about steps they should take to determine the right type of law to practice and how to keep balance in their lives in a high-stress field.
