(WASHINGTON, D.C., 10/5/2022) – The Ohio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Ohio), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of racist flyers in Pataskala, Ohio.
Residents in one Pataskala neighborhood discovered the flyers on their driveways on Sunday. Police have been notified, but said no criminal investigation is underway as no crime was committed.

“We stand in solidarity with the residents of Pataskala against this attempt to intimidate them with hateful, racist propaganda,” said CAIR-Ohio Executive Director Amina Barhumi.
She said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
