CAIR-Ohio Offers Free Legal Services and Registers Voters at Community Events

(COLUMBUS, OHIO 6/7/2022) – Last Sunday, the Ohio Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Ohio) joined the Arzaq event at the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati and the North American Indian Muslim Association (NAIMA) Ohio Potluck event to offer free legal services and register voters ahead of the Aug. 2 primary election. 

CAIR-Ohio staff were available at the community events to share educational resources – including Know Your Rights and religious accommodation guides – and answer questions. Staff also provided free one-on-one consultations for legal matters, conducted voter registration, and shared information about 2022 elections.
