CAIR-Ohio Partners with U.S. Census Bureau to “Make Sense of the Census” at ICGC

(COLUMBUS, OHIO 3/5/2020) On Sunday, March 1, the Ohio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Ohio) partnered with the U.S. Census Bureau to hold a learning session about the 2020 U.S. Census at the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati.

CAIR-Ohio Outreach Director Amina Barhumi participated in an informative discussion with U.S. Census Bureau Partnerships Specialist Carolyn Tepe to help attendees understand the purpose and significance of the Census. Barhumi highlighted why the census is especially important for the American Muslim community. She also explained how to complete the census form and fielded questions from the attendees.
