(COLUMBUS, OHIO, 10/27/22) – On Sunday, October 23, CAIR-Ohio Executive Director Amina Barhumi spoke on an interfaith panel of leaders from various faith groups. The panel titled, “Do justice, love mercy and walk humbly,” was a part of the “All People Conference” an annual gathering hosted by the United Methodist Church Community for All People.
The discussion was about how faith traditions help inform justice and advocacy work on the ground in Ohio. As well as how faith helps keep leaders strong in order to do social justice work and how to ensure they are paving a way for this work to sustain and remain in their absence.
