Record-sealing, often called expungement, allows eligible individuals to have their criminal records sealed from the public eye. This process is vital for providing people the opportunities they need to reenter and reconnect with their communities.
Arrests, misdemeanors, and even some low-level felonies may be eligible for expungement.
Tell your legislators to support Ohio Senate Bill 181 and protect the right to wear hijab in school sports.
This bill will allow Muslim students to participate in school sports without compromising their religious beliefs. Dress codes should not place Muslim students on the bench. Help make sure what happened to Noor never happens again in Ohio.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of George Floyd and with all families struggling with loss due to police brutality.
CAIR-Ohio and the Ohio Muslim community stand firm in declaring that Black Lives Matter. The verdict delivered yesterday is a consequence of Derek Chauvin’s actions, but it does not solve the crisis of police brutality nor undo the systemic racism that perpetuates it. Doctrines such as qualified immunity too often shield police from accountability and outsized policing budgets drain resources away from needed community services. We know the work continues to build safe and equitable communities for all.
