CAIR-Ohio Staff Attorney Maryam Abidi Speaking at IJPC Cincinnati’s Annual Gathering
CAIR-Ohio Staff Attorney Maryam Abidi will be joining the Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center (IJPC) for their Annual Gathering, Radical Compassion: From Individual Mercy to Systemic Change on Thursday, October 6, 2022.
IJPC educates and advocates for peace, challenges unjust local, national, and global systems, and promotes the creation of a non-violent society. Maryam will be speaking on a panel with other movement leaders including Harold D’Souza and Sr. Alice Gerdeman.
The event will take place at the 20th Century Theater in Cincinnati, OH.

The Family & Youth Institute’s Guides for Educators, Parents, and Youth Around 9/11
CAIR-Ohio has received calls from educators, and parents about the best way to navigate conversations specific to 9/11. The Family & Youth Institute released an Educators’ Guide To Supporting Muslim Students Around 9/11, Parents’ Guide To Navigating the Anniversary of 9/11, and a guide for Coping With 9/11 As A Young Adult. These guides help support Muslims as they navigate challenging conversations.

Join CAIR-Ohio for the 4th Annual Muslim Advocacy Day in Columbus at the Ohio Statehouse on Tuesday, September 27, 2022! Participants will receive training, education, and meet with their elected representatives to discuss issues affecting all Ohioans.
Registration fee includes lunch, training, and materials.
